5×7 in (13×18 cm)

Perfect for small shelves, tight corners, or as part of a gallery wall. These are also great for gifting and easy to frame in standard off-the-shelf frames.

8×10 in (24×30 cm)

Great for smaller spaces like desk nooks, shelves, or gallery wall fillers. Easy to mix and match, and fits in standard store-bought frames.

12×16 in (30×40 cm)

A versatile mid-size option that works well in entryways, hallways, or above a side table. Big enough to stand alone but also great paired with other pieces.

16×20 in (40×50 cm)

Makes more of a statement. Ideal for feature walls, mantels, or anchoring a room with one bold piece. A good size when you want the details to really show.

All sizes refer to the physical dimensions of the paper. Our prints do not include white borders—they're designed to run edge-to-edge for a clean, contemporary look. Each one is printed on heavyweight, archival-quality fine art paper using museum-grade pigment inks, so they stay crisp and vibrant for years to come.

The Hare is one of my most beloved wildlife pieces. It’s inspired by classic woodland scenes and painted in warm, earthy tones against a deep green background. There’s a calm, alert energy to it that makes it easy to live with and hard to ignore.

This print has become a customer favourite for a reason. It fits beautifully in both modern and rustic spaces, bringing a touch of woodland character without feeling cutesy. It was even chosen to appear in the Grand Designs UK “Bedfordshire 2025” episode. It didn’t make the final cut, but it was part of the featured home!

Please note: The Hare is painted on a deep forest green that can read almost black in low light. It's meant to be moody! Printed colours sit a touch darker than they look on a glowing screen, so if you'd prefer something brighter for your space, please check out the other colour editions above.

I'm Catherine Hébert, an artist based in Montréal. I've spent almost two decades in visual effects, working on films and TV as a concept artist and eventually a VFX supervisor. But I never stopped illustrating, so I started The Ugly Cat Studio to share the work I actually want to make.

Each print is made to order and produced by trusted fine art print partners across North America and Europe. We use giclée printing on Epson Hot Press Bright White paper, with archival inks for rich colour and long-lasting quality.

This print is on Epson Hot Press Bright White, a 100% cotton smooth hot press paper with a bright white finish that makes colours pop and deep blacks look rich. Archival and acid-free, so it's built to last.

Please note: Colours may vary slightly from what you see on screen, since monitors and devices display colour differently.

Frames

Our solid oak frames are designed to complement the artwork, with a slim, clean profile that feels refined but sturdy. Each frame is fitted with tempered glass for clear, durable protection.

Available in black, white, oak, and walnut, they arrive mounted and ready to hang right out of the box.

Free shipping on all framed and unframed art prints. Orders are 1 to 3 business days. Shipping normally takes 5 to 7 business days in Canada, the USA, the UK, and Europe. Delivery elsewhere may take longer.

What materials are used for your art prints?

All our prints are made on archival fine art paper using museum-quality giclée inks for rich colors, sharp detail, and exceptional longevity. We carefully select premium papers like Epson Hot Press and Hahnemühle for their quality and durability.

Can I customize the size of my print?

Yes! You can view our standard sizes on the Size Guide. If you need a custom size, contact us with your request. Custom dimensions may require an additional fee and slightly longer production time.
Do you offer framed prints?

Absolutely. We offer pre-framed prints in premium oak frames (black, white, natural wood, and walnut) for customers in the USA and Canada. Each frame includes tempered glass. For more details, see our Frame Info page.
How should I care for and clean my print?

Use a soft, dry cloth to gently dust the print—never use water or cleaning sprays. Keep prints out of direct sunlight to prevent fading. For detailed tips, see How to Care for Your Giclée Art Print.
What is your shipping policy for art prints?

We offer free shipping on all art prints worldwide, with a production time of 1–3 business days.

For orders placed outside of Canada, the US, the UK, and The European Economic area, customers are responsible for any customs duties or import taxes that may be levied.

Do you offer bulk discounts, wholesale, or trade pricing?

Are your prints limited edition?

Limited editions are our special runs that come with an extra personal touch. Each print in a limited edition is signed and numbered and includes a certificate of authenticity, with "Limited Edition" clearly noted on the product page. All other designs are open editions and you can reorder them anytime you like.
Can I commission a custom artwork or variation?
