Rocco the Pheasant Jigsaw Puzzle

Rocco is a ring-necked pheasant who hangs around near my sister’s house in Nova Scotia (she makes pottery as @bleumariepottery). He shows up in the yard every now and then like he owns the place. Honestly we’re not 100% sure it’s always the same pheasant, but they’re all Rocco now.

That red face, the iridescent green neck and all those layered golden feathers made him so much fun to paint, and they make him a treat to put together too. The tall grass around him is where it gets sneaky, so you might want to save the field for last!
