Everyone knows this little guy. He shows up every spring wrapped in gold foil with a tiny bell around his neck, waiting patiently in the Easter aisle to be dropped into someone's basket.

I painted him because he's one of those small seasonal joys that makes spring feel like spring. There's something about that red ribbon and little bell that just says "Easter is here." He's not trying to be fancy. He's the bunny your mom hid in the garden. The one in your kid's basket next to the plastic eggs. You eat him ears first while pretending you're just having a little nibble.

This is a limited seasonal print, available only during holidays.

I painted this one in 2024 and sold a few as one offs for collectors but he never got the real release he deserved until now!

ABOUT ME

I'm Catherine Hébert, an artist based in Montréal. I've spent almost two decades in visual effects, working on films and TV as a concept artist and eventually a VFX supervisor. But I never stopped illustrating, so I started The Ugly Cat Studio to share the work I actually want to make.

Paper & Printing

Each print is made to order and produced by trusted fine art print partners across North America and Europe. We use giclée printing on Epson Hot Press Bright White paper, with archival inks for rich colour and long-lasting quality.

This archival, 100% cotton smooth hot press paper provides a bright white point and high contrast ratio, making it perfect for fine art prints without compromising on look or feel. Its acid, lignin, and chlorine-free composition ensures deep, rich blacks and an exceptionally wide color gamut.

Please note: Colours may vary slightly from what you see on screen, since monitors and devices display colour differently.

Frames

Our solid oak frames are designed to complement the artwork, with a slim, clean profile that feels refined but sturdy. Each frame is fitted with tempered glass for clear, durable protection.

Available in black, white, oak, and walnut, they arrive mounted and ready to hang right out of the box.

Right now, frames are only available in the US and Canada. We're looking into making them available in more regions, and will share updates if and when that becomes possible!

Frequently Asked Questions

What materials are used for your art prints?

All our prints are made on archival fine art paper using museum-quality giclée inks for rich colors, sharp detail, and exceptional longevity. We carefully select premium papers like Epson Hot Press and Hahnemühle for their quality and durability.

Can I customize the size of my print?

Yes! You can view our standard sizes on the Size Guide. If you need a custom size, contact us with your request. Custom dimensions may require an additional fee and slightly longer production time.

Do you offer framed prints?

Absolutely. We offer pre-framed prints in premium oak frames (black, white, natural wood, and walnut) for customers in the USA and Canada. Each frame includes tempered glass. For more details, see our Frame Info page.

How should I care for and clean my print?

Use a soft, dry cloth to gently dust the print—never use water or cleaning sprays. Keep prints out of direct sunlight to prevent fading. For detailed tips, see How to Care for Your Giclée Art Print.

What is your shipping policy for art prints?

We offer free shipping on all art prints worldwide, with a production time of 1–3 business days.

For orders placed outside of Canada, the US, the UK, and The European Economic area, customers are responsible for any customs duties or import taxes that may be levied.

For full details, see our Shipping Policy.

Can I return or exchange a print?

We offer returns within 30 days of receipt of your items. Because all of The Ugly Cat Studio's art is made to order, return shipping costs are the customer's responsibility. For full details, see our Refund Policy.

Do you offer bulk discounts, wholesale, or trade pricing?

Yes—browse our wholesale collection and bulk pricing on Faire. Retailers can sign up directly to access trade pricing and special terms. Once approved, log in to your Faire dashboard to view volume pricing and exclusive discounts.

Are your prints limited edition?

Limited editions are our special runs that come with an extra personal touch. Each print in a limited edition is signed and numbered and includes a certificate of authenticity, with "Limited Edition" clearly noted on the product page. All other designs are open editions and you can reorder them anytime you like.

Can I commission a custom artwork or variation?

I'm sorry, but I'm not able to take on commissions right now. However, I love hearing your ideas—feel free to drop us a line via our Contact page, and we'll keep you in mind if that changes!

Will my print fade over time?

Our giclée prints are made with archival pigment inks on museum-grade fine art papers, giving them exceptional longevity. When displayed out of direct sunlight and kept away from humidity, they can stay vibrant for decades. For practical tips on how to protect your print, see our guide to caring for giclée art prints.
